Overview
This article outlines changes to the Red Card dashboard for Athletic Departments as of 8/24/2021. In a continuous initiative to improve Red Card, we have listened to feedback and made these changes in order to increase convenience, speed, and ease of use. Please let us know if you have thoughts about these changes in the Feedback section at the end of the article.
Transaction Screen Updates
Our analytics showed that most dashboard users go to Transactions first, so it is now the first screen you see after log in.
We've also added a Tab bar to the top and grouped Dining, Performance Table and Fueling Station transactions all in this one screen, making it easy to switch between different types of transactions. Filters that you set will carry between the tabs as well.
Side Navigation Updates
Our side navigation had grown throughout many updates and it was time to do some consolidation.
- "Users" is now called "Rosters"
- The "Meals" tab was reorganized for simplicity. You will only schedule and see "Dining" transactions in this section. This includes a clean up of the calendar to only see "Dining" meals that are scheduled. Analytics was also moved to this tab as it only has data for these types of meals.
- The "Performance Table" tab was also cleaned up so you only see and schedule "PT" in that tab. PT reporting was also moved into this tab.
- The Nutrition Center and Restaurant Notifications now live under the Notifications tab.
- SMS and Push notifications will now be sent through the Rosters page. See below for more.
SMS Notifications and Setup
You can now send SMS notifications to your players in the Rosters area. Just filter for and select the users to send to, and select "Send SMS Notification" from the "Actions" menu.
We have revised the Account Setup SMS to include a single link for both iOS and Android. It matches the Email Setup experience much better as well.
